I'm having a Tupperware Show

I'm still not quite sure how I feel about posting this. Which is why it's the last day.... But I really want to make this show a success for my consultant. Tupperware is her main source of income and having been looking for work for well over a year while doing direct sales I know first hand how "unstable" income from a source like this can be. Plus she's hosting a show for me, and I would like to make it worth her while.

So I'm not going to go on an on about this. If you would like to place an order you can do so here: Jennifer's Tupperware Party. I'm going to close my show at 2 EST tomorrow (11/25/11). If you place an order online it will ship directly to your door. Also I do not see any of your information, I just see your name and that you placed an order. I wouldn't ask if I thought it would compromise your identity security in any way!!!

There are some pretty good deals on some stuff. If you've got some gifts to buy and (like me) don't want to deal with the rush at the stores tomorrow there are some pretty neat gift ideas.

But that's all I'm going to say. And like I said I've been kind of against doing this post. But I know my consultant would appreciate a big party. If I've over-stepped here, I apologize. But thank you if you can help.

Review: Snuggle Exhilarations White Lilac & Spring Flowers

I got a FULL size bottle of Snuggle Exhilarations to try for free from Smiley360!
Snuggle
I loved the smell of this product. It had a bit more of a citrus scent than a flower smell, but it was still great!

I also like how well it works. I used this when I washed my sheets the other day and after three days of use I can still smell the fabric softener. That's with me, my boyfriend, and both dogs using the bed. Usually I can't smell the fabric softener after one night, so being able to smell it after three is nice. The beautiful smell makes my bed feel more comfortable somehow...

The other thing that I loved about this Snuggle is that my hair didn't look like I stuck my finger in an electrical outlet when I pulled my shirt on this morning. With winter in Michigan getting ready to rear it's ugly head my hair is in freak out mode. And getting dressed always makes it go frizzy. But not this morning! It was awesome.

Now I have to admit that I haven't used Snuggle in a very long time. The bear gives me the hebbie jebbies... But I may just have to start buying this again. I wish there was a perfume that smelled like this, I love the smell that much!

For more information about Snuggle Exhilarations White Lilac & Spring Flowers you can visit Smiley360.Your clicks will help me complete my mission, so thank you for your help!

Ahhhh, To be working again!

I have been out of work for a VERY long time. But I decided for my own sanity, and because I am getting close to finishing up my degree I should start looking for a job.

It's taken quite a while (since February!!!), but I got a call to interview as an accounting clerk. I was so excited. Then a few days later I got a call back for a second interview. Then that night I got the call asking me to start work on Monday. I was so happy.

So it's been a week now, and despite the fact that was exhausted all week, I'm really really happy to be working again. And the fact that I'm doing something relevant to my degree is awesome. I know not many recent college grads can say that, unfortunately...

I'm just so happy I found a job and I have to thank Accountemps for giving me the opportunity. Without their help I don't know how much longer I may have had to keep going on interviews to no avail.

So if you're looking for work I know it's hard, it's frustrating, and you feel like giving up (believe me I understand). But don't give up, it will happen. I just wanted to share. And if you're not familiar with Accountemps maybe you can apply with them. It can't hurt. They have locations all over the place, so I'm sure there's one in your area.

And just keep your head up! Everything happens for a reason - and eventually things will turn around :-)

No More Rack

I can't reiterate enough how much I love this site. Everyday there are new deals. This weekend they are going above any beyond though - 90 DEALS!!! Everything from shirts, dresses, purses, toys, jewelry, electronics, and more.

The most expensive thing I saw was $33 but most of the stuff I really like is closer to the $10 price range (and shipping is only $2 per item!). I've got my eye on this beautiful $10 shirt

I wish this sale would have happened in a few weeks as  I start my job on Monday! So I won't have a paycheck for a little while. But if I had the money I think I could just about wipe out all of my Christmas shopping tonight.

If you're not a NoMoreRack member you can sign up for free here: NoMoreRack

Enjoy the great deals. I'd like to hear what one(s) you're buying.

Knit Picks Win Your Wish List Contest

I am so excited! I just entered a contest to win $50 worth of stuff from my wish list at KnitPicks.com. I've been wanting to try my hand at spinning, but don't want to put out the money for a drop spindle in case I'm no good at it. So winning $50 from Knit Picks would give me enough to get a spindle and some roving to play with! It was super easy to enter. I just created a wish list, which wasn't difficult at all, emailed it to a loved one, shared it on Facebook, and now I'm sharing it with you. You can check out my wish list here and then enter to win your own fiber goodies here. You do have to have a KnitPicks account, but it's free to sign up.

Here's the spindle that I want:

Again it is super easy. They'll announce the winner on their FaceBook page on 11/17. So if you're not already a fan you can go and like them here and make sure you don't miss the winning announcement!

Good Luck!

New Page for Great Deals

So rather than doing a million posts on sites and services that I use to get my free products I've decided to just put them all on one page so they're easy to find. Right now I've got a few things listed and I've got a few more in mind that I need to get added.

So go check it out: Great Deals and Free Stuff.

I'd love to hear what great deals you've found :-)

Product Review: L'Oreal EverSleek Sulfate Free Smoothing System

I received these samples in the mail the other day. They were not provide with the expectation of review.

There were three pieces to this sample: Intense Smoothing Shampoo, Intense Smoothing Conditioner, and Humidity Defying Leave-In Creme. I have only tried the shampoo and conditioner.

The products all smell really good. I don't like perfume, but I like to smell good so I am particular about the smells of my soaps and hair care products. These had a floral smell to them. They didn't have a strong scent, and they didn't smell like chemicals. Just a nice subtle scent.

The shampoo wasn't all that great. The first time I used it I my hair didn't really feel all that clean. Even before I put the conditioner in I still felt like it was oily. So I repeated and it was a bit better but not much. The shampoo didn't lather a ton, and I LOVE when my shampoo has a nice lather. The second time I used it it was the same, not really that clean after the first rinse and since I didn't have any more I ended up rewashing with my normal shampoo.

But the conditioner I LOVED!! I have very oily hair and so I normally don't use conditioner in the shower. I use a leave on spray once I get out. When I do use conditioner in the shower I use a very light conditioner and I still have to spray my hair to get a brush through it. That was not the case with this conditioner. It wasn't really thick and it got rid of all the tangles without having to use a spray in afterward and my hair was so soft when it dried. The next day my hair wasn't any more oily than usual, so that's a good thing.

So it's a mixed review for this. The shampoo not so much, but the conditioner was awesome! It's a bit pricey, (I'm a couponer, so spending $6 on shampoo or conditioner is not something I would do) but if I have the coupons I would absolutely buy the conditioner.
