Christmas is over, kind of...

Ok, so my mass of Christmas knitting didn't get done. But with it still being January if I finish the rest of my scarves by this Christmas it should be ok, right??? LOL

I got sick of knitting scarves so I've temporarily moved on. Right now I'm working on this blanket, it's going to be really cool if it comes out like I planned it. But there's no pattern, I'm going simply on my mind's eye so it will have to be seen. I'm making it in the round and adding cables. It looks like it is going to work. And it's for the Vanna White knitting contest, so hopefully I can finish it before the 1st of February.

Plus I started a baby blanket for my cousin who just found out she was pregnant. It's a really cute blanket. It's the Devil Baby Blanket from Crazy Aunt Purl's Drunk Divorced and Covered in Cat Hair. I just happened to have a pound of red yarn laying around, then I saw that pattern and wanted to make it, then my cousin said she was pregnant, so it just kind of worked out!

In other news I had a job interview on Friday! It was with an insurance company in Troy. I didn't get a great feeling from the interview but I didn't get a bad feeling either. I'm not planning on getting it, but if I do that would be nice.

Ok, here are the pictures of two of the scarves that I did get done:

Ruffles from Scarf Style
I also finished all of the stuffed animals that I made. But I took the pictures on my sister's camera and she hasn't e-mailed them to me yet. So as soon as she does I'll get those up here also.

Other than knitting and that job interview not a whole lot going on. I've been overly-addicted to facebook and goodreads lately. I've also been going nuts on paperbackswap.com

I'm trying to hit 100 books this year. So far I've finished one. But I'm in the middle of two right now. Then I'm taking a world literature class in my next block so I'm sure I'll get a lot of reading done in those nine weeks.
